Despite the halo, Goodsearch does good work
I think they have a dumb logo, but I enjoy using their search engine. It’s tough to argue against using a search engine that generates revenue for charities and isn’t a pain to use. I’m just going to paste their spiel verbatim,
Here’s a new easy way to raise money for your favorite cause. Just start using GoodSearch.com as your search engine. Every time you search, they make a donation to your favorite nonprofit or school and it’s powered by Yahoo! so you get great search results!
I use Firefox, so Goodsearch works with the built in search box without adding a toolbar or any other annoying junk like that. It’s run off Yahoo so the results are not quite as quality as Google, but it does the trick most the time.
Give it a try and set it up with your charity of choice. My searches make pennies for the WWF, and that makes me happy. It takes about 10 whole seconds to set up and you’ll be helping your charity every day.

Hey, cool! What a neat find… I also went with WWF; I also hate the lame halo on their logo. I’m a little confused by their warning, though, not to make “fraudulent searches”… like, what’s a fraudulent search? If I typed in “microwave” even though I’m not really looking for a microwave?
